About the role

• Junior Transaction Manager at GLAS responsible for managing a portfolio of syndicated loans. Collaboration and client relationships are key in this hybrid role based in Sydney or Melbourne.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the ongoing management of a portfolio of syndicated loans
• Ongoing review of syndicated loan and supporting finance & security documentation
• Covenant monitoring through the collection and analysis of financial statements
• Facilitating deal amendments and handling the collection of lender votes
• Shadow senior team member on complex transactions
• Ongoing collaboration with internal GLAS deal teams
• Establish and maintain key relationships with clients and other market participants
• Provision of exceptional customer service
• Coordinate efficient completion of GLAS’s KYC processes for new obligors
• Attendance at client meetings and industry conferences to assist with GLAS marketing and sales strategies

Requirements

• Graduate candidates with +2 year financial industry experience
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
• A committed work ethic and the ability to operate with integrity
• Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs of a growing business
• The ability to represent GLAS to high standards and expectations at all times
