About the role

  • EDM Manager managing teams for Master Data Management in Budapest. Ensuring high quality service delivery and overseeing data accuracy for the region.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and monitor the performance of large teams of Data Administrators and Data Analysts on regional scale
  • Hires team members and Team Leaders
  • Provide professional support for the team: coach team members, set goals, evaluate skill development, develop individual action plans and train team as needed, being involved in talent management and succession planning
  • Take relevant actions (termination, performance improvement plan) in case of escalated performance issues
  • Responsible for salary review and promotions
  • Creates strong morale and spirit in the team
  • Supports the set-up and supervise the EDM Data/Information Management team, responsible for aligning the organizational set-up based on priorities, objectives and resource needs
  • Builds constructive and effective relationships with EDM Teams and site teams (as listed in contacts) and cross-functional GBS teams
  • Promote EDM services and represent EDM organization in the region
  • Act as an escalation point for process related activities regionally
  • Ensures that direct reports are contributing to data quality and timely execution of Master Data/Information Management activities
  • Set expectations based on the global SLA on single data entries, mass extractions, mass updates of the different master data families, and/or information management activities
  • Takes actions in case service level is not reached
  • Provide input for process improvement opportunities and drive implementation in alignment with the other Delivery Centres and GSC’s, and ensures good progress on the projects as per plan
  • Promote best practices on Master Data and/or Information Management activities amongst team in order to allow Continuous Improvement and Idea management
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external partners by phone or via email

Requirements

  • University degree preferably in business administration or economics
  • Fluent English level
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in Master Data Management or any related field
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office
  • SAP ERP knowledge is a plus
