About the role

Responsibilities
- Develop and commission new measurement programs and modify the CMM Calypso
- Document and evaluate test results and implement quality-assurance measures
- Lead shift personnel, plan staffing, and coordinate further training and qualification of employees
- Organize the inspection process for new projects including initial sample inspections
- Continuously analyze main error patterns, coordinate corrective actions and monitor progress together with Quality Assurance
- Develop and implement appropriate measures to improve equipment availability and continuously improve work processes
- Prepare and conduct internal and external audits and ensure that associated work documents remain up to date
- Represent the metrology lab within the production network
Requirements
- Completed vocational training in the metal sector with further qualification as an Industrial Foreman (Industriemeister) or as a Technician
- Several years of experience in the production environment of an industrial company
- Technical understanding and a strong quality awareness
- Very good knowledge of statistics and common quality methods/procedures
- Solid knowledge of common leadership/management tools
- Independent, careful and responsible way of working
- High commitment and resilience
- IT skills (e.g., Piweb, ProCos, MS Office)
