About the role

  • Guide and manage outreach department and outreach efforts
  • Interviewing, hiring, and training new direct reports
  • Directly supervise Quality Assurance supervisor
  • Oversee implementation Quality Assurance policies and practices
  • Stay updated on current Quality Assurance and Quality Improvement trends
  • Oversee responses to service quality concerns
  • Investigate and formally respond to whistleblower complaints
  • Oversee development and implementation of relevant GGRC staff and/or service provider trainings
  • Attend Community Care Licensing (CCL) meetings as needed
  • Directly Supervise the Quality Improvement and Risk Analysis Specialist
  • Represent GGRC on the DDS Regional Management Advisory Committee
  • Chair GGRC Risk Management Committee
  • Ensure ongoing Residential Services Orientation
  • Provide support for process improvement across the Community Services Department
  • Adhere to HIPAA and other confidentiality requirements

Requirements

  • 4 years experience working with people with disabilities preferred
  • 2 or more years supervisory experience
  • Demonstrates an understanding of person centered principles and practice
  • Able to read, interpret, and convert to practice related state regulations and codes
  • Able to analyze and design systems and processes to maximize efficiency in a collaborative manner
  • Able to work collaboratively with others and build consensus
  • Able to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Demonstrates an understanding of culturally responsive and inclusive practices
  • Master’s Degree in Social Work, Public Administration, Community Development, or related human services field
  • Travel Required within Bay Area
  • Occasional travel to sites throughout California
  • Access to reliable transportation permitting travel to and between many different locations throughout the day
