- Create tutorials to help end-users with a variety of applications.
- Analyze existing and potential content, focusing on reuse and single-sourcing opportunities.
- Create and maintain the information architecture and content management system.
- Develop content in alternative media forms for maximum usability, with consistent voice across all documentation.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, English, journalism, computer science, information technology, information management, or related field from an accredited university or college.
- Four or more years of experience in technical writing of software documentation.
- Superb written communication skills.
- Experience writing documentation for applications involving complex mathematical calculations.
- Experience with software project management tools (JIRA, Trello, etc.) and concepts (Agile, KanBan, Lean, etc.).
- Basic knowledge of energy markets such as: energy price trends (electricity and major fuels); Energy and associated ancillary services market rules and practices; Generation Capacity Markets; Current U.S. energy regulations; Transmission system limitations and operating practices.
- Experience with Power system analysis, design and operation, or generation and transmission planning/pricing.
- Proficiency with power system analysis tools, e.g., PSLF, MAPS, MARS, and other competing software.
- Familiarity with software development life cycle
