Responsibilities
Post Sales support of customer issue.
Responsible for departmental operations planning/execution or is focused on execution of professional activities within a technical discipline.
Own the resolution of post-sales technical customer issues.
Level 1,2,3 Technical Support – Resolves post sales Technical Issues.
Utilizes in-depth knowledge of a technical discipline and analytical thinking and technical experience to execute policy/strategy.
Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market.
Uses some judgment and has some ability to propose different solutions outside of set parameters to address more complicated manufacturing processes with technical variety and/or interdependent production cycles.
Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
May lead small projects with low risks and resource requirements.
Conveys performance expectations and may handle sensitive issues.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in engineering field or other technical area and 2 years in generator or turbine controls
high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in generator or turbine controls
Power generation experience.
Experience with GE Control System products.
Power Plant Controls Troubleshooting & Technical Support Experience.
Experience working with global teams and previous global responsibilities
Proficiency with computer tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.).
Demonstrated ability to proactively identify challenges, resolve effectively, and deliver results.
Effective decision making skills that leads to long term customer & business success.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and ability to coach/mentor effectively.
