Responsibilities
Maintain smooth operation of multi-user computer systems, coordinating with network administrators.
Recommend hardware/software purchases, coordinate installation, and provide backup recovery.
Develop and monitor policies and standards for computing resource allocation.
Install, support, and maintain DTOC mission network servers, computer equipment, and peripherals.
Configure and manage software in compliance with STIGs, JSIG, and cybersecurity requirements.
Plan for and respond to service outages and technical issues.
Collaborate on project teams to design and integrate OTTI technologies and DTOC solutions.
Provide application support for office automation tools and modeling & simulation (M&S) software.
Support HBSS, SIEM solutions, and continuous monitoring.
Implement workstation patches, security fixes, and service releases.
Identify, analyze, and document long-range requirements.
Requirements
2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree in a related field; OR 0 years of experience with a Master’s degree in a related field; OR 6 years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma/equivalent.
Experience configuring software and performing configuration management in compliance with STIGs, JSIG, and DoD cybersecurity requirements.
Experience managing storage arrays, file and virtual machine backups.
Experience with Virtual Desktop Interface technologies, VMware, physical/virtual machines, and LANs.
Knowledge of relational database management systems (e.g., SQL Server)
Ability to update and patch Windows and Linux operating systems and applications in offline environments.
Ability to analyze network traffic and troubleshoot DIS/HLA packets using tools such as Wireshark or DPA.
General working knowledge of PowerShell and scripting.
Must have a current or active DoD Secret Clearance with ability to upgrade to TS.
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Must have a DoD IAT Level II certification or higher (e.g., Security+ or equivalent).
