About the role
- General Manager leading a collision repair team in Guelph and Kitchener area. Ensuring customer satisfaction and operational efficiency while maintaining high-quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide an exceptional customer experience while leading the day-to-day operation of the store
- Coach each team member’s performance and success in their individual roles
- Promote and maintain the highest quality standards of professionalism in serving all customers
- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan
- Lead and manage all repair facility personnel
- Oversee hiring, training, corrective action and termination
- Prepare and manage the annual and monthly operating budget of the collision center
- Forecast, target and track monthly sales, profit and expenses
- Set performance targets and deliver formal and informal performance reviews
- Monitor and maintain all A/P and A/R relating to the Collision Center
- Provide training for all staff as necessary
- Ensure all staff wear proper safety gear and adhere to dress code
- Open and close the facility daily as per established procedures
- Conduct or coordinate daily production meetings/walks to oversee work in progress
- Manage all estimates and store capacity
- Facilitate monthly Health & Safety and staff meetings
- Attend monthly managers meetings
- Maintain a clean and organized repair facility at all times
- Monitor all maintenance required for all shop equipment
Requirements
- Post-Secondary Education or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years leadership experience in a collision repair environment or similar role
- Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing
- Ability to multitask and function well in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of Google platform and Microsoft Office
- Strong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracy
- Capability to engage with all levels of employees
- Ability to motivate others utilizing effective coaching tools and management skills
- Valid driver’s license required
