About the role

  • Marketing Manager for ANZ supporting B2B marketing initiatives in the software utilities sector. Executing strategies to build lead generation and brand awareness for Gentrack's growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the development and execution of the ANZ marketing plan aligned to global strategy and local sales priorities
  • Partner closely with the ANZ sales team to deliver marketing initiatives that support pipeline growth
  • Create and build brand visibility and credibility within the energy and water industries
  • Organise hospitality events to create strong relationships between Gentrack and existing customers or prospects
  • Support media, communications, and internal stakeholder updates as required
  • Work closely with global marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment and campaign consistency
  • Execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, social, events, and industry channels to drive awareness and lead generation
  • Deliver targeted account-based marketing (ABM) programs to support sales, pre-sales in converting strategic opportunities
  • Create regional marketing content including LinkedIn posts, blog articles, customer stories, and press releases
  • Control marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot) and CRM systems to manage lead nurturing, campaign performance and ROI
  • Monitor campaign metrics and provide reporting on results and insights
  • Lead digital marketing initiatives aimed at building awareness and generating pipeline
  • Work with the global digital team to measure and optimise campaign performance
  • Manage the planning and execution of regional trade shows, conferences, partner events and webinars
  • Coordinate vendors, agencies, and logistics for events and post-event lead follow-up
  • Ensure Gentrack’s presence at events reflects brand excellence and thought leadership
  • Identify opportunities to enhance regional visibility through speaking engagements and partnerships
  • Stay informed on regulatory updates, industry trends, and competitor activity across the ANZ utilities market
  • Contribute to thought-leadership initiatives by helping translate insights into marketing content
  • Provide regular updates and share relevant market trends to global and regional teams

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in a B2B marketing in a tech/software environment or in a utility company.
  • Experience in go-to-market planning capabilities including demand generation and hands-on execution
  • Strong analytical skills in order to analyse data to ensure that programs support business goals
  • Ability to work in an extremely fast paced, high growth environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to influence others without formal authority
  • Highly organised and detail oriented
  • Decision maker with strong planning and organisational skills, ability to manage various priorities and tasks
  • Creative thinker who can see “the big picture” and unite new and exciting ideas with practical executions
  • Understanding of the utilities industry (energy/water) is beneficial but not essential
  • Hubspot experience to run campaigns is a bonus
  • Familiarity with design tools like Canva or basic video editing software is a plus
  • A positive, high-energy, and can-do attitude is essential, as you'll be managing diverse tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Exceptional communication and writing skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely
  • Willingness to travel occasionally (generally less than 10%) to support key events across the region
