About the role

  • Senior Director overseeing global executive events and content strategy at Genesys. Leading high-impact executive experiences to deepen C-suite relationships and support strategic account growth.

Responsibilities

  • Set Direction for Global Executive Programs
  • Provide strategic leadership for the Executive Perspectives program, establishing the vision, annual priorities, and operating model.
  • Lead the design and delivery of Executive Perspectives at Xperience, ensuring it remains Genesys’ premier executive experience.
  • Lead the planning and execution of a stand-alone global Executive Perspectives event, hosted annually in a rotating region.
  • Establish a scalable global framework to enable regional teams to deliver Executive Perspectives forums aligned to global standards.
  • Establish the global program brand architecture for Executives Perspectives, including naming conventions, thematic framework, and experience principals across flagship, global and regional events.
  • Lead and develop a small global team, providing direction, coaching, and prioritization, with the opportunity to scale the team over time as the program expands.
  • Partner with Brand to ensure the Executive Perspectives program has a distinct, premium identity that aligns to Genesys’ corporate brand and scales globally.
  • Establish and manage the anchor content partnership with a respected academic institution or media organization to support the Executive Perspectives program.
  • Define the content strategy for the program, including annual flagship research, supporting assets, executive interviews, and customer narratives.
  • Partner closely with Brand, Content Marketing, Thought Leadership, and Communications to ensure program content aligns with Genesys’ corporate narrative and is amplified through appropriate channels.
  • Ensure content is structured for executive-level conversations and integrated across events, executive sponsorship efforts, and regional activations.
  • Serve as a senior matrix partner to the Executive Sponsorship Program (PI Accounts), Sales, Regional Marketing and Customer Success teams.
  • Support executive-level engagement by aligning program participation, content themes, and follow-up strategies to account priorities.
  • Provide guidance and governance around executive invitations, participation, and engagement for Tier 1 accounts.
  • Develop playbooks, toolkits, and content packages to support Executive Perspectives Regional Forums.
  • Consult and guide in content creation and execution.
  • Establish governance, quality standards, and best practices to ensure consistency across regions while allowing for local relevance.
  • Partner with regional teams to coordinate timing and sequencing of executive events, and to recommend and prioritize executive participation based on strategic account impact, capacity, and global priorities.
  • Define success metrics across executive engagement, content utilization, event outcomes, and revenue influence.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on program performance and business impact.
  • Continuously refine the program based on data, stakeholder feedback, and evolving priorities.

Requirements

  • 12+ years of experience in senior marketing roles, with a focus on global events, executive engagement, and strategic programs.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead global, cross-functional programs with senior-level visibility and impact.
  • Experience managing external partnerships (e.g., academic institutions, media organizations, analysts, or consulting firms).
  • Strong collaboration skills across Brand, Content Marketing, Thought Leadership, Communications, and Events teams.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and align senior stakeholders in a matrixed organization.
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS; CX, AI, or digital transformation experience preferred.
  • Strong operational discipline, including program governance, budget oversight, and vendor management.
  • Willingness to travel globally as needed.
