About the role
- Contract Analyst managing compliance for various insurance policies and forms. Collaborating with teams across Tech and Legal in a hybrid setting.
Responsibilities
- Create, review, maintain, and update insurance policies and forms to ensure compliance with state legal and regulatory requirements.
- Support business goals across various insurance products including Auto, Boat, Motorcycle, RV, and Umbrella.
- Work closely with product managers and teams across Tech, Legal, and other departments.
- Build strong working relationships and effectively partner with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Demonstrate effective communication skills and ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple projects at various stages simultaneously.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in Underwriting, Contracts, Compliance, or Claims is preferred.
- Understanding of state insurance regulations, policy language and research techniques.
- Draft and review policy documents and understand contractual language.
- Strong research and writing skills, and an eagerness to be involved in a dynamic company.
- Ability to quickly digest and understand business, processes, and procedures.
- Demonstrated experience problem solving.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, both legal and non-legal.
