Responsibilities
Lead and manage the quotation process for spare parts, including handling inquiries (qualification phase), generating quotes (consultation and preparation phase), and processing orders (registration phase).
Collaborate with regional sales & marketing, engineering, and supply chain teams to ensure smooth communication and execution of customer requirements.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize the quotation cycle, improving efficiency and customer service (response times, quote quality).
Analyze market trends and customer feedback to identify process improvement and business development opportunities (support for promotional campaigns, new product launches, end-of-life sales).
Ensure compliance with company policies and industry regulations throughout the quotation process.
Prepare and present reports on operational and financial performance metrics (KPIs) and business results.
Analyze variances against objectives, identify root causes, and lead corrective and preventive action plans.
Coach and develop team members (a team of around ten employees located across France — Massy, Belfort, Nancy — and in India, Chennai) to maintain high standards of service (technical support, commercial management) and performance.
Requirements
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in engineering, a technical discipline, or business school.
Minimum 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably with technical products or services and ideally in spare parts, with at least 2 years in a management role.
Ability to understand and master our technology offering and adapt it for aftermarket and spare parts.
Strong financial analysis skills.
Willingness to travel internationally (approximately once per month).
Fluent English required.
Familiarity with software such as Salesforce is a plus but not required.
