About the role

  • Labor Relations Manager providing expert legal advice on labor law matters at GE Vernova. Collaborating with HR teams and employee representatives to ensure compliance and manage negotiations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice and support on labor law matters
  • Ensure alignment with business objectives and legal compliance
  • Conduct negotiations on behalf of the HR department
  • Maintain and develop constructive, trust-based relationships with employee representatives and works councils
  • Prepare and carry out negotiations with employee representatives
  • Advise managers and HR People Partners / HR Business Partners on collective and individual labor law issues
  • Monitor changes in legislation, case law, and labor relations negotiations

Requirements

  • Completed degree in Law, Business Law, or Labor Law
  • In-depth knowledge of collective and individual labor law (e.g., BetrVG, ArbZG, TzBfG)
  • Professional experience in human resources with a focus on labor law / labor relations, ideally in a company bound by collective agreements
  • Experience in dealing with employee representatives and conducting negotiations
  • Very good written and spoken German
  • Good English language skills
