Responsibilities
Support definition and execution of Warranty Initiatives across HDNU and Services
Maintain Warranty Training guides, PowerNow modules, eWarranty activation, and links to related systems to ensure User access and understanding.
Train Warranty team members and GEV site representatives (CPM/CSL) on Warranty Training guides utilization, location, and feedback processes
Oversee planning, execution, and completion of claim audits, ensuring thorough and accurate reviews
Execute aligned region/site warranty claim evaluation and disposition in line with Warranty Policy and Standard Work
Interpret Customer NU Contract Warranty terms and conditions to determine claim validity
Review technical case resolution to support claim validity and disposition
Use Lean to drive culture, continuous improvement, and workstream productivity
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university or college or High School Diploma/GED plus 6 years’ experience in warranty claims processing (contract terms and conditions, warranty policy).
At least 3 years of combined experience with Power Generation/heavy equipment installation, operation, service, or technical support
Strong communication & interpersonal skills
Basic knowledge of Six Sigma DMAIC, 3 x 5 Why’s or other Root Cause techniques
Basic knowledge of LEAN techniques
