About the role
- Join GALE as an Associate in Tech Quality Assurance to ensure product quality through testing and evaluation. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Bengaluru, India.
Responsibilities
- Work directly with the product, design and development teams to create and execute new test cases for new products and applications as they are developed
- Run regression tests and test cases for products after assessing impact areas.
- Log clear and self-explanatory bug reports in our bug tracking system and then work directly with development to follow-up those bugs till resolution.
- Take part in daily project meetings and provide feedback to the project team regarding the QA status.
Requirements
- Minimum 1+ years’ QA experience in web application development environment
- Basic manual testing knowledge and understanding of defect management and lifecycle.
- Knowledge / High level understanding of database complimenting with PL-SQL queries.
- In-depth automation testing Knowledge/ experience
- Working knowledge on multiple automation frameworks including keyword, data driven & hybrid.
- Good Knowledge on any of the open source frameworks including POM, Cucumber, TestNG or J-Unit
- Experienced in Selenium with Java or Python
- In-depth skills in working with locators, DOM elements etc.
- Good Relationship building skills that enables seamless collaboration with product, design and development teams.
- Ability to adapt to the ever-changing technology landscape and should be excited about constantly keeping themselves up-to-date by experimenting with new technologies.
- Demonstrable self-learning ability and excellent communication skills.
