Responsibilities
Planning, implementation and maintenance of safety management according to EN 50126, including risk and safety analyses
Assessment of safety-relevant software processes in accordance with EN 50716
Support in software verification and tool qualification
Preparation and maintenance of the Safety Case according to EN 50129
Conducting hazard identification and risk assessments according to CSM-RA
Coordination with AsBo and authorities
Close cooperation with project management, development, certification, quality and external assessors
Management of safety-related documentation and communication across project milestones
Requirements
Technical degree (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Railway Engineering)
Several years of experience in functional safety, railway engineering or safety-critical product development
Solid knowledge of the standards EN 50126, EN 50716, EN 50129 and the CSM-RA methodology
Experience in safety analyses, Safety Cases and risk management processes
Practical experience with tools such as DOORS/Polarion, FMEA software and hazard log systems
Confident handling of regulatory requirements and notified bodies
Strong communication and conflict-management skills and assertiveness
Structured, solution-oriented and independent way of working
Very good German and English skills
