About the role
- Requirements Manager developing professional communication solutions for railways. Responsible for managing requirements and ensuring compliance in safety-relevant railway projects.
Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain and manage requirements management including the RMP, processes, roles and interfaces.
- Capture, analyse, classify and allocate requirements from TSI, NTR, contracts and safety regulations.
- Maintain the requirements repository, handle versioning and create/update the traceability matrix.
- Plan and track verification and validation activities (V&V), including building the compliance dossier.
- Manage change and configuration management (CR register, impact analyses, CCB approvals).
- Work closely with System Engineering, Project Management, Homologation, V&V, suppliers and customers, and support assessments and approvals.
Requirements
- Degree in a technical discipline (e.g., Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering, Rail/Vehicle Systems Engineering)
- Several years of experience in requirements management for safety-critical railway projects
- Very good knowledge of the TSI landscape (in particular TSI CCS 2023/1695), NTR and CSM-RA
- Confident application of RM methodology (parsing, allocation, traceability, V&V) and relevant KPIs
- Experience with RM tools, MS Office and evidence-compliant archival/storage
- Understanding of radio and train systems (e.g., GSM-R, driver interface units, UIC interfaces)
- Excellent communication skills, structured working style and ability to work independently
- Very good German and English language skills.
