Responsibilities
Research and analyze statutes, judicial decisions, legal articles, legal codes

Prepare trial binders and materials for case preparation
File pleadings with clerk and maintain document files

Requirements
A certificate of completion of a paralegal program or post-secondary degree with minimum 24 semester units in law-related courses
A bachelor’s degree in an unrelated major with ABA-approved paralegal program certification or minimum one year of law-related experience under attorney supervision
Certification of completion of four hours of mandatory continuing legal education in legal ethics and four hours in general or specialized law every two years
5+ years of litigation paralegal experience; trust litigation strongly preferred
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook and Word
Strong cite checking and proofreading skills
Extraordinary attention to detail and strong organizational skills
