About the role

  • Entry-level paralegal assisting Legal Department with review of marketing materials and client agreements. Coordinating document execution and performing legal research for regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Review marketing materials, advertisements, social media content, and client communications to ensure compliance with applicable legal and regulatory requirements, and investor guidelines.
  • Coordinate with Marketing to provide timely feedback on marketing campaigns.
  • Assist in tracking key client transactions and servicing agreements.
  • Coordinate the execution and delivery of legal documents, as well as the collection of signature pages from clients and the delivery of such to all parties.
  • Perform ad hoc legal research as required on federal and state laws/regulations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in paralegal studies from an accredited college or university and/or certification as a paralegal preferred
  • 1+ years’ paralegal experience with financial services or mortgages servicing
  • Familiarity with federal and state advertising and marketing law applicable to financial services
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication
  • Strong computer skills
  • Strong research skills
  • Must be effective in multi-tasking and be goal oriented
  • Must be able to work on a team or independently with minimal supervision
