Responsibilities

  • support the development and maintenance of Frontier’s art tools and production pipelines
  • deliver features
  • resolve pipeline issues
  • learn best practices in collaborative software development within a games studio environment

Requirements

  • Demonstrable programming experience through asset creation or tool development (which may be through academic or personal projects)
  • Solid Python programming knowledge (which may be through academic or personal projects)
  • Some exposure to 3D software (one or more of Maya, Blender, Houdini, etc.).
  • Familiarity with version control (Git, Perforce, etc.).
  • Exposure to software development best practices (testing, CI/CD).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Willingness to learn from feedback and mentoring
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities
  • Basic knowledge of PyQt/PySide would be beneficial.
