About the role

  • Corporate Strategy Development Leader at Fraunhofer developing corporate-level strategies for technology transfer and consulting. Focusing on effective business models and strategic processes to enhance impact.

Responsibilities

  • In collaboration with Fraunhofer institutes and other consortia, you initiate, implement and establish long-term corporate strategies to further develop our knowledge and technology transfer.
  • You develop business model concepts at the corporate level and analyze, define, test, implement and monitor business/transfer models for Fraunhofer in coordination with relevant departments, institutes and consortia.
  • As part of developing, orchestrating and implementing strategic processes at the corporate level, you coordinate and shape implementation projects together with other departments to ensure the impact of the corporate strategy at the institutes.
  • You identify development trends and areas of action for Fraunhofer consortia concerning their service offerings to clients.
  • You analyze the organization, processes and effectiveness of the internal cooperation structure and drive its further development.

Requirements

  • Completed academic degree in economics or a comparable field, ideally with a focus on strategy or business model development, marketing, project, innovation or technology management.
  • Professional experience in business consulting and project management, particularly in business model development and strategic innovation management.
  • Experience advising companies, SMEs and public institutions on technology development and transfer, innovation processes and funding programs.
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and interacting with stakeholders with diverse interests.
  • Strong communication skills in German and very good English, both written and spoken.
  • Team player with quick comprehension and strong implementation skills.
