Lead communications for Ford Business Solutions across Europe, focusing on internal and external messaging strategies and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
This role is to serve as the lead communications expert for Ford Business Solutions in Europe, which has centers in Hungary and Romania. The successful candidate will develop and deliver communications (written, graphic, and some video) to team members in FBS Centers, to the global Ford enterprise, and to the general public via social media and occasional press releases.
Create effective, efficient, creative and engaging internal communication among employees according to the FBS vision using all communication tools and channels. And ensure that communication is made effectively to the right target audience through the right channels. This includes emails, newsletters, web sites, social media, live and virtual employee town halls, and more.
Implement the communications plans of the internal communication projects in line with the company's vision and strategies. Oversee support from 3rd parties for the preparation of visual / video of the content.
Create the content and concept of the internal communication of meetings, award ceremonies / events in line with the company's vision and goals and manage the operational process.
Partnering with HR and other departments, support internal Ford events with publicity, planning, and coordination.
Work together with other teams across Ford Motor Company in Europe and globally to generate content for the internal communication channels.
Work in coordination with relevant teams in Hungary and Romania to identify relevant internal communications content/ opportunities and act proactively in adapting the content used in external communication to internal communications.
Use feedback mechanisms and gather metrics to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of communication and prepare feedback and interaction reports.
Examine innovative communication methods, follow new trends, bring innovations that will benefit internal FBS communications in Europe, Mexico, India and the US.
Create, develop and manage web sites using Sharepoint.
Edit and publish the Ford Business Solutions (FBS) newsletters in Hungary and Romania.
On a monthly basis, lead or present at internal Ford meetings.
Coordinate social media presence for Ford Business Solutions in Europe, partnering with other departments and the external provider.
Requirements
Have a university or college degree in Business, HR, Management, Communications or a similar field.
Bring 3–5+ years of proven experience in communications, writing, project management, or a related role.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills in Hungarian and English, with examples of published work a plus.
Are skilled in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, and comfortable using SharePoint; video editing experience (e.g., Camtasia) is a bonus.
Can plan projects, track metrics, anticipate risks, and drive results with a problem-solving mindset.
Are creative, proactive, and customer-focused, always looking for ways to improve engagement.
Excel at building relationships, managing stakeholders, and balancing multiple priorities across teams.
Bonus: automotive experience or prior exposure to corporate communications in a global environment.
