About the role
- GL Accountant joining Hungarian Accounting team at Ford Business Solutions in Szentendre. Coordinating accounting activities and ensuring compliance with financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily accounting activities and support month-end close processes
- Prepare and review account reconciliations and financial reports
- Support filing of tax returns, including VAT and online reporting
- Assist with Treasury activities and liaison with local banks
- Support annual statutory accounts (IFRS) and audits
- Contribute to accounting and finance projects and process improvements
Requirements
- Are fluent in English and Hungarian (written and spoken)
- Hold a university or college degree; Certified Accountant qualification is preferred
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in accounting or a similar finance role
- Work in a structured, systematic way with strong attention to detail
- Have strong problem-solving skills and can perform effectively under pressure
- Enjoy working in a collaborative, international environment and taking ownership of complex accounting topics
