About the role

  • Senior Data Analyst improving product performance at Foodics through deep analytical investigations and data insights. Collaborating with various teams to enhance customer experience and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end analytical projects: define the problem, explore data, run analysis, and communicate results.
  • Design, execute, and analyze experiments and A/B tests to measure the impact of product and business changes.
  • Write advanced SQL to extract, transform, and analyze large datasets efficiently and accurately.
  • Perform deep dives to identify patterns, trends, and root causes behind business performance.
  • Build and maintain dashboards in Metabase and Looker Studio to monitor key metrics and experiments.
  • Partner closely with Product, Operations, and Business teams to define success metrics and track outcomes.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear presentations and written insights for stakeholders.
  • Measure the impact of initiatives and ensure learnings are documented and reusable.
  • Support data-driven decision-making across the Optimization Team.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineering to improve data quality, define requirements for modeled tables, and request new data points or pipelines when needed.
  • Work closely with Product teams to evaluate product improvement ideas, build data-backed business cases, and prioritize initiatives based on impact.
  • Partner with Customer Support, Sales, and Operations teams to streamline processes, remove inefficiencies, and optimize workflows using data.
  • Navigate incomplete, inconsistent, or noisy data and still deliver reliable, decision-ready insights.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis, analytics, or business intelligence roles.
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization.
  • Strong experience in experimentation, A/B testing, and statistical analysis.
  • Proven ability to perform deep analytical investigations and uncover actionable insights.
  • Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Metabase and Looker Studio (or similar).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analysis for non-technical audiences.
  • Experience packaging insights into presentations and clear written documentation.
  • Comfortable working with messy, imperfect, or partially missing data.
  • Highly analytical, curious, and detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in SaaS, FinTech, or data-driven product companies is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with Python and experience in data analysis using Python.
  • Experience with datasets in the F&B or retail sectors.
