About the role

  • Pre-Sales Specialist in telecommunications supporting sales teams and customer engagements with defined technical expertise and innovative solutions. Designing tailored solutions for voice and data technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective and existing customers to understand their technical and business requirements
  • Design and present tailored telephony and data solutions that solve real business challenges
  • Deliver compelling technical presentations to stakeholders at all levels
  • Create comprehensive technical designs including network diagrams and configuration documentation
  • Provide technical sign-off on solutions, ensuring compatibility and best practice
  • Work with our product team to shape future offerings
  • Support field and office-based sales teams throughout the sales cycle
  • Deliver product training to Business Development Managers, Account Managers, and channel partners
  • Structure winning proposals that clearly articulate business value and cost savings
  • Interface with delivery and project teams to ensure smooth handovers
  • Liaise with suppliers and technical teams on solution viability
  • Contribute to KPIs and drive deal closure

Requirements

  • 2-3 years in a pre-sales, solutions consultant, or technical sales role within telecommunications or unified communications
  • Strong technical knowledge of UCaaS and CCaaS solutions (on-premises, private hosted, and public cloud)
  • Understanding of data connectivity solutions including Internet, MPLS, SD-WAN, and network infrastructure
  • Proven ability to design and present technical solutions to diverse audiences
