About the role
- Chief Information Security Officer responsible for developing and governing the Bank's enterprise-wide Information Security Program. Overseeing cybersecurity risk management and ensuring regulatory compliance for sensitive financial data.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing, implementing, and governing the Bank’s enterprise-wide Information Security Program.
- Ensure cybersecurity risk is identified, measured, mitigated, monitored, and reported.
- Manage the Bank Security team and oversee security operations.
- Chair the Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) and manage incident responses.
- Ensure the Bank complies with federal and state regulations.
- Evolve, maintain, and communicate a clear information security vision and program.
- Lead security operations, threat detection, and incident response.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, engineering, or related field.
- Master’s degree preferred (cybersecurity, information assurance, business, or technology management).
- Professional Certifications (Preferred): CISSP, CISM, CRISC, CISA, CCSP, or GIAC level technical certifications.
- 10–15+ years in cybersecurity, information security, or technology risk; 5+ years must be in a regional bank (or comparable regulated financial institution).
- Proven ability to serve as an effective member of a senior management team.
- Demonstrated success presenting to Boards and regulators; direct experience with FFIEC exams.
