About the role
- Associate Director of Technology leading engineering teams for Flutter's Global Sports products. Ensuring scalability, reliability, and technology excellence across sports betting platforms.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop engineering teams responsible for building and supporting Global Sports technology platforms
- Partner with Product, Delivery, Architecture and Operations to deliver technology capabilities aligned with the Global Sports roadmap
- Contribute to the technology strategy across Global Sportsbook & Trading and help shape the future of Flutter’s global sports capability
- Ensure platforms are scalable, reliable and capable of supporting large-scale sports data and betting transactions
- Drive engineering excellence through strong standards, processes and tools across the product delivery lifecycle
- Champion continuous improvement across engineering practices, team performance and delivery outcomes
Requirements
- Strong experience leading engineering teams delivering complex, large-scale software platforms
- Deep understanding of technology delivery within large-scale digital or data-driven environments
- Experience contributing to technology strategy and translating business objectives into engineering outcomes
- Strong collaboration with Product, Architecture, Delivery and Operations teams.
- Proven track record to build and develop high-performing engineering teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills in complex organisations
