About the role
- Software Asset Manager managing licensing and compliance for Europe’s largest online brokerage platform. Collaborating with IT and business departments on effective license management and negotiation.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for license management across the entire group; an existing license inventory has been established over recent years
- Negotiate with software vendors and resellers
- Further develop license management at flatexDEGIRO
- Lead the migration project from FNT Command to Flexera, which is already licensed
- Strategic oversight of Microsoft licenses with respect to usage, compliance and pricing models; flatexDEGIRO SE operates a virtual environment, requiring particular attention to Microsoft licensing
- Serve as an interface between IT Operations, business departments, Enterprise Architects and access/permissions management
- Analyze existing contracts and initiate required changes
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics or a comparable field, commercial vocational training, or job-related qualification
- Proof of certification for further training as a Software Asset Manager / License Manager is desirable
- Experience in license management, especially with Flexera
- Experience with Microsoft licensing and contract models (E3, E5 and Windows Server)
- Familiarity with virtualization and related licensing topics
- Experience with Microsoft Office, ideally also with SAP S/4HANA Cloud and JIRA
- Excellent (interdisciplinary) communication skills due to the interface role, which requires extensive communication
- Experience in regulated environments and their impact on license and access management is desirable
- Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken
