Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customers' network infrastructures (primarily HPE Aruba)
- Deploy, migrate and maintain firewall solutions (Sophos, Forcepoint)
- Configure and connect proxy services (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, mail, …)
- Design, deploy and maintain WLAN (Wi‑Fi) infrastructures
- Support the development of new security options for our customers
- Provide technical support for the preparation of project proposals and their implementation planning
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training or a degree in (business) computer science
- Professional experience in networking and IT security, e.g., as a System Engineer or (Technical) Consultant
- Solid knowledge of core network and security technologies (Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing/switching, [Next Generation] firewalls, VPN/remote access, and IDS/IPS) and application protocols
- Good knowledge of Windows and ideally Linux operating systems, plus basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and DNS
- Very good German and good English skills, both written and spoken
