About the role

Responsibilities
- Build and maintain customers' network infrastructure (especially HPE Aruba)
- Configure, migrate, and maintain firewall solutions (Sophos, Forcepoint)
- Set up and integrate proxy services (HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, Mail, …)
- Design, deploy, and maintain WLAN infrastructures
- Support the development of new security options for our customers
- Provide technical support for preparing project proposals and planning their implementation
Requirements
- Completed IT vocational training or a degree in (business) computer science/informatics
- Professional experience in networking and IT security, e.g., as a System Engineer or (technical) Consultant
- Solid knowledge of core network and security technologies (Layer 2 and Layer 3 networking, routing/switching, [Next Generation] Firewalls, VPN/Remote Access, and IDS/IPS) and application protocols
- Good knowledge of Windows and, ideally, Linux operating systems, plus basic knowledge of Active Directory (AD) and DNS
- Very good German language skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
