About the role
- Technical Business Analyst supporting product and client-led changes for FIS's Post Trading Platform. Engaging with teams to ensure effective solutions for a next-gen real-time securities platform.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical business analysis support for product and client led change projects
- Ensure that changes to product features are fully assessed
- Work closely with the product manager, development and QA teams
- Identify and analyze the impact on the application from new product features
- Liaise with other internal product and development teams
- Produce required change documentation
- Work with professional services and implementation teams as needed
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training, education, and work experience
- 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry
- Strong knowledge of the securities industry flows
- Experience with different North American market infrastructures
- Hands-on technical proficiency in Linux, SQL, REST API integrations
- Proven ability to research, analyze, and generate scope and business requirements documents
- Strong competency in using a workflow tool (e.g. Jira, confluence)
