About the role
- Functional Tester ensuring the quality and reliability of the mortgage brokerage platform at Finsolutia. Collaborating with development teams to validate new features for user experience in SaaS.
Responsibilities
- Perform manual functional testing of core platform features and new releases.
- Verify and validate bug fixes delivered by the development team.
- Create, update, and execute test cases and regression test checklists.
- Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Developers to ensure all acceptance criteria are met.
- Document test results, report issues clearly, and follow up on their resolution.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the QA process and test coverage.
- Support release validation and user acceptance testing (UAT).
Requirements
- Fluency in Portuguese (PT) at native level.
- Minimum 1+ year of experience in software testing, QA, or related roles.
- Good understanding of functional and regression testing practices.
- Familiarity with bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps).
- Basic understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
- Strong attention to detail and critical thinking.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast-paced SaaS environment.
- Bonus points: Fluency in Spanish and English, both verbal and written.
- Experience using tools such as Notion or Confluence for test documentation.
- Exposure to API testing tools (e.g., Postman) or basic automation frameworks.
- Experience with SaaS or fintech products, especially in the mortgage or financial sector.
