Responsibilities
Engage with clients to understand their business, key value drivers, and deliver tailored solutions.
Conduct research on industries, comparable companies, and precedent transactions to support valuations.
Analysing data and involvement in solving problems and delivering complex engagements.
Manage and deliver valuation engagements for a wide range of clients, from SMEs to listed public companies, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
Develop and review financial models from scratch using best practice techniques and analytical tools.
Prepare high-quality valuation reports, proposals, and supporting documents for client engagements and business development activities.
Maintain compliance and quality standards by ensuring accurate documentation, meeting chargeable hour targets, and achieving profitability goals.
Ability to work in other areas of Corporate Finance, including Financial Due Diligence, M&A and Debt Advisory.
Requirements
Degree in Commerce/Business/Law or Economics with experience in Corporate Finance primarily in the areas of Valuations and Financial Modelling
Strong Excel skills and some experience in reviewing and/or building financial (three-way) models.
Critical thinking and analytical skills and strong research skills
Solid knowledge and hands-on experience writing reports and strong technical knowledge of business and equity valuation
Clear and confident written and oral communication skills
Strong personal drive and ability to take initiative
Ability and desire to work as part of a close-knit team
