About the role

  • Specialist in Regulatory Compliance focused on sustainability strategies at FERI Group. Involves developing internal processes and ensuring adherence to financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Needs analysis and further development of internal processes, company-wide policies and governance frameworks in the field of sustainability for FERI AG
  • Responsibility for sustainability reporting at company and product level with a focus on SFDR regulation (in cooperation with FERI Luxembourg)
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and market trends in Sustainable Finance and coordinating required measures
  • Documentation of ESG processes and support for internal and external audits
  • Participation in the development of sustainable financial products, including market and competitor analyses, strategic concept work and preparation of presentations
  • Contribution to internal and external exchange formats on topics such as sustainability, biodiversity and transformation
  • Preparation and delivery of trainings and design of internal communications on sustainability topics
  • Responding to RFPs and DDQs in the ESG and impact area
  • Responding to the annual UN PRI questionnaire – liaising with internal stakeholders
  • Close collaboration with various departments such as Compliance and Anti‑Money Laundering, our in‑house asset management company, the Project Management Office and Portfolio Management

Requirements

  • University degree in economics, law or social sciences with a strong focus on financial markets and/or sustainability
  • Solid understanding of European sustainable finance regulation (in particular SFDR, EU Taxonomy, CSRD/ESRS, MiFID II)
  • Initial practical experience in ESG compliance, sustainability reporting or sustainable finance
  • Analytical thinking, a structured working style and the ability to present complex regulatory requirements clearly
  • Confident user of MS Office (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with ESG databases or reporting tools is an advantage
  • Very good German and English skills, both written and spoken.
