- Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator supporting global logistics execution and compliance regulations. Ensuring shipping accuracy and operational continuity across supply chain with 5+ years of experience.
Responsibilities
- The Logistics & Trade Compliance Coordinator plays a critical cross-functional role supporting global logistics execution and import/export compliance.
- This position ensures shipping accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational continuity across PEI-Genesis’ supply chain.
- The coordinator partners closely with Product Management, Sales, Shipping & Receiving, Quality, and external freight providers to maintain efficient, compliant, and cost-effective movement of goods globally.
- Classify products under appropriate HTS codes, ECCN classifications, and tariff categories, ensuring accuracy for all import/export transactions.
- Monitor and support company compliance with tariffs, Section 301 requirements, duty-free programs, preferential origin rules, and duty drawback eligibility.
- Maintain and update product compliance data, including Country of Origin, Free Trade Agreement applicability, and tariff impact analysis.
- Prepare and maintain export documentation (AES filings, declarations, commercial invoices) and assist in license management.
- Conduct and document denied party screening and escalate issues per company protocol.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, or related field.
- 5+ years of logistics or trade compliance experience.
- Experience with tariff classification, import/export regulations, and global materials compliance.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Preferred: Experience with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting and supplier compliance systems.
- Prior involvement in duty drawback, free trade agreements, or tariff-optimization programs.
