About the role

  • Technician managing collective insurance programs with direct communication to municipalities in Québec. Collaborating on administrative tasks and customer service in a hybrid working environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-level customer service to members for all administrative questions related to the group insurance plan
  • Act as an intermediary and maintain regular communication with members and the insurer
  • Analyze and process information received from members and make required adjustments using databases and internal information systems
  • Calculate and prepare documents showing deductions and taxable benefits
  • Assist with the preparation of proposals and renewals
  • Support the setup of new members' plans
  • Provide support to other team members for additional administrative tasks

Requirements

  • College diploma in administration, human resources, insurance, or another field related to the role
  • Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or a related area
  • Knowledge of government programs that affect group insurance (for example: prescription drug coverage, sickness/unemployment benefits, CNESST, etc.)
  • Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
  • Good command of common computer tools, including the MS Office suite (intermediate Excel)
  • Demonstrated strong customer service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrated discretion, diplomacy, and impeccable professionalism
  • Empathy, courtesy, patience, and adaptability
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and rigor
