Responsibilities
Provide high-level customer service to members for all administrative questions related to the group insurance plan
Act as an intermediary and maintain regular communication with members and the insurer
Analyze and process information received from members and make required adjustments using databases and internal information systems
Calculate and prepare documents showing deductions and taxable benefits
Assist with the preparation of proposals and renewals
Support the setup of new members' plans
Provide support to other team members for additional administrative tasks
Requirements
College diploma in administration, human resources, insurance, or another field related to the role
Minimum of one (1) year of relevant experience in benefits administration, payroll processing, or a related area
Knowledge of government programs that affect group insurance (for example: prescription drug coverage, sickness/unemployment benefits, CNESST, etc.)
Excellent command of French, both written and spoken
Good command of common computer tools, including the MS Office suite (intermediate Excel)
Demonstrated strong customer service orientation, including excellent interpersonal skills
Demonstrated discretion, diplomacy, and impeccable professionalism
Empathy, courtesy, patience, and adaptability
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple files simultaneously while maintaining a high level of quality and rigor
