About the role

Responsibilities
- Implement assurance criteria for new or modified assets, ensuring safe integration into the operational network.
- Coordinate evidence submissions and support configuration change processes in collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
- Provide expert advice to stakeholders on integration activities, compliance, risks, and technical standards.
- Review systems assurance deliverables and develop supporting artefacts to meet safety and technical requirements.
- Monitor non-conformances, drive improvements, and maintain oversight of contract requirements related to asset assurance.
- Support identification and resolution of operational risks throughout project delivery.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in asset acceptance, risk, and assurance within large-scale project environments from ideally railway environment.
- Strong knowledge of engineering construction, operations, and maintenance practices and standards.
- Proven ability to develop technical standards, specifications, and risk documentation.
- High-level skills in risk assessment, technical analysis, and interpreting complex data.
- Solid understanding of design, asset management, and inspection/audit processes.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, compliance, and continuous improvement.
- Highly organised and motivated individual with outstanding communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Experience working in complex, multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects, with a focus on planning, assurance, and integration.
- Professional qualification: Bachelor Science or higher
