Responsibilities

• Assess and publish proprietary fruit & vegetable prices to a set schedule, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Grow the number of companies benchmarking against Expana’s assessments.
• Research, analyse, and communicate market trends through reports, webinars, videos, and podcasts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with traders, producers, brokers, and buyers.
• Lead interviews with industry stakeholders to gather price data and insights.
• Respond to client inquiries about market coverage and assessments.
• Represent Expana at industry events and across platforms such as LinkedIn.
• Ensure market data is accurately recorded and workflows followed.
• Support audits and uphold rigorous editorial standards.

Requirements

• 2+ years’ experience in commodity markets, ideally agrifood or PRA.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data visualization tools.
• Excellent English; additional European languages a plus.
• Understanding of market fundamentals, trade flows, and pricing dynamics.
• Familiarity with risk management, hedging, and derivatives.
• Experience launching or maintaining price indices.
• Knowledge of IOSCO standards and audit support.
• Confidence presenting to audiences via media or live events.
