About the role

  • Head of Benefits overseeing the strategic direction and management of benefits programs for U.S. and North America. Ensuring compliance, cost-effectiveness, and exceptional service delivery across regions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic direction, design, governance, and management of U.S. and North America benefits programs
  • Ensure benefit plans remain competitive and compliant
  • Direct vendor governance for more than 50 external partners
  • Lead merger, acquisition, and divestiture activity
  • Provide strategic support to business leaders and HR partners
  • Develop organizational policies and oversee HR frameworks and tools

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Graduate degree (MBA) preferred; CEBS certification strongly preferred
  • 10+ years senior‑executive leadership in large‑company employee benefits
  • Deep working knowledge of ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, IRS Code, COBRA, HITECH, FMLA, ADA
  • Experience as a global benefits head
  • Ownership of financial management, audits, actuarial valuations, nondiscrimination testing
  • Hands‑on experience with non‑qualified executive deferred compensation
  • Proven ability to partner with in‑house and external counsel
