About the role
- Quality Control Analyst implementing Eversource's QC program in gas operations. Ensuring compliance with safety and construction standards, conducting inspections, and verifying qualified personnel.
Responsibilities
- Supports the implementation of the Eversource Quality Control (QC) program for gas operations
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and company construction standards
- Directs and stops work to ensure compliance with safety rules
- Verifies work is performed by qualified personnel
- Monitors resources in the Company’s re-dig program
- Conducts random inspections and contributes to the annual gas inspection plan
- Performs activities contributing to effective gas quality control programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, related discipline or equivalent experience
- Three (3) to five (5) years of experience in gas distribution, utility or technical experience preferred
- Requires knowledge of gas construction and maintenance standards, work practices and procedures, and safety requirements
- Requires knowledge assessments and audits
- Strong technical writing and oral communication skills
- Familiar with MS Office suite
