About the role
- Senior Sourcing Agent at Eversource managing procurement strategies and sourcing processes. Collaborating cross-functionally to negotiate contracts and improve purchasing effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for driving the procurement sourcing strategies, managing the bid process, and negotiating the purchase of materials, equipment, and services

- Assists in identifying and implementing best practices in all procurement processes

Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years related experience
- Demonstrated strategic sourcing / procurement experience including purchasing, negotiating/drafting contracts, contract management, supplier development and supplier qualification/certification
- Strong analytical, problem solving, decision making, and influencing skills
- Effective negotiation skills
- Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
