About the role
- DevOps Engineer enhancing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD processes for enterprise SaaS products. Collaborating closely with development and operations to ensure system reliability and security.
Responsibilities
- Design, manage, and optimise **AWS infrastructure** supporting multiple production platforms.
- Enhance and maintain **CI/CD pipelines**, enabling rapid, reliable, and secure deployments.
- Strengthen **security, identity, and compliance controls** in alignment with ISO 27001 standards.
- Implement effective **monitoring, alerting, and observability** to ensure high availability and early issue detection.
- Contribute to **disaster recovery and business-continuity planning**, including backup and multi-region resilience strategies.
- Drive **cost optimisation and performance efficiency** across AWS services.
- Collaborate with developers to streamline build, test, and release workflows.
- Document infrastructure, standards, and procedures to support maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Requirements
- 3+ years’ experience in **DevOps, Cloud, or Infrastructure Engineering** roles.
- Proven expertise with **AWS** (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, networking, monitoring, etc.).
- Experience building and managing **CI/CD pipelines** (GitHub Actions, CodePipeline, Jenkins, etc.).
- Solid understanding of **Linux systems**, networking, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with **Docker** and container-based deployments.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a structured approach to troubleshooting.
- Strong communicator who enjoys close collaboration with developers.
- **Desirable:**
- Experience supporting **PHP (CodeIgniter/Laravel)** or **JavaScript**-based SaaS applications.
- Grasp of **Infrastructure as Code** using Terraform or CloudFormation.
- Exposure to **ISO 27001 or regulated environments**.
- Awareness of **cost-efficiency and scaling strategies** in AWS.
