About the role
- Product Assurance Manager ensuring the quality management of in-orbit satellite anomalies at Eutelsat. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and resolve anomalies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end PA management of in-orbit satellite anomalies, from detection to root cause analysis and closure
- Chair the Anomaly Review Boards and coordinate investigations with engineering, operations, and subsystem experts
- Ensure proper anomaly classification, documentation, tracking, and reporting in accordance with internal and manufacturer requirements
- Monitor and drive the Anomaly Review Board Process using JIRA, including task tracking, reporting, and KPI follow-up
- Monitor corrective and preventive action plans and verify their effective implementation
- Interface with customers and all stakeholders regarding anomaly status and resolution plans
- Support lessons learned processes and feed anomaly insights into future programs and product improvements
- Ensure compliance with applicable space industry standards and quality management systems
Requirements
- Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in space systems, satellite engineering/production, product assurance, or in-orbit operations during the whole satellite lifetime
- Understanding of satellite subsystems (AOCS, data handling, power, thermal, propulsion, RF communications, etc.)
- Experience in anomaly investigation and root cause analysis methodologies (FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, etc.)
- Knowledge of space industry standards (ECSS, NASA, or equivalent quality frameworks)
- Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
- Analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
- Strong leadership and facilitation skills for Anomaly Review Boards
- Excellent knowledge of English (B2 or higher)
