Product Assurance Manager ensuring the quality management of in-orbit satellite anomalies at Eutelsat. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze, document, and resolve anomalies.
Responsibilities
Lead the end-to-end PA management of in-orbit satellite anomalies, from detection to root cause analysis and closure
Chair the Anomaly Review Boards and coordinate investigations with engineering, operations, and subsystem experts
Ensure proper anomaly classification, documentation, tracking, and reporting in accordance with internal and manufacturer requirements
Monitor and drive the Anomaly Review Board Process using JIRA, including task tracking, reporting, and KPI follow-up
Monitor corrective and preventive action plans and verify their effective implementation
Interface with customers and all stakeholders regarding anomaly status and resolution plans
Support lessons learned processes and feed anomaly insights into future programs and product improvements
Ensure compliance with applicable space industry standards and quality management systems
Requirements
Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, Electronics, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in space systems, satellite engineering/production, product assurance, or in-orbit operations during the whole satellite lifetime
Understanding of satellite subsystems (AOCS, data handling, power, thermal, propulsion, RF communications, etc.)
Experience in anomaly investigation and root cause analysis methodologies (FMEA, Fault Tree Analysis, etc.)
Knowledge of space industry standards (ECSS, NASA, or equivalent quality frameworks)
Experience working in cross-functional and international environments
Analytical, reporting, and documentation skills
Strong leadership and facilitation skills for Anomaly Review Boards
