About the role

  • Buyer supporting category management for household appliances and electronics. Engaging in supplier negotiations and inventory analysis while contributing to strategic procurement processes.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Category Manager in implementing category strategies for the product area
  • Primary contact person for a major industry partner
  • Operational purchasing activities: supplier analysis, evaluation of offers
  • Preparation and conduct of negotiations
  • Ensure stock KPIs, inventory levels and gross margins
  • Prepare regular category analyses and reports

Requirements

  • Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
  • Several years of professional experience in retail and/or purchasing or category management
  • In-depth product group knowledge in small electrical appliances
  • Advanced MS Office skills
  • SAP experience is a plus
