About the role
- Buyer supporting category management for household appliances and electronics. Engaging in supplier negotiations and inventory analysis while contributing to strategic procurement processes.
Responsibilities
- Support the Category Manager in implementing category strategies for the product area
- Primary contact person for a major industry partner
- Operational purchasing activities: supplier analysis, evaluation of offers
- Preparation and conduct of negotiations
- Ensure stock KPIs, inventory levels and gross margins
- Prepare regular category analyses and reports
Requirements
- Completed commercial vocational training or a degree in business administration
- Several years of professional experience in retail and/or purchasing or category management
- In-depth product group knowledge in small electrical appliances
- Advanced MS Office skills
- SAP experience is a plus
