About the role

  • Financial Operations Controller at EUROPEAN DYNAMICS overseeing financial activities for multiple entities. Ensuring accuracy, integrity, and compliance within a dynamic international environment.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and maintaining accounting systems and records;
  • Monitoring month-end and year-end closing processes;
  • Preparing financial statements, forecasts and performance reports;
  • Liaising with external auditors for the finalization of the annual statutory audits;
  • Supporting and reviewing most aspects of accounting management (invoicing, journal entries, account reconciliation, reporting etc.);
  • Monitoring the day-to-day management of multiple entities of the group;
  • Handling communication with clients, partners and other stakeholders;
  • Participating in business development activities and setting up new entities;
  • Oversee the payroll preparation for the entities of the group worldwide;
  • Participation in the finance transformation projects;

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field
  • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience – ideally in a multinational environment; Prior experience in an IT company will be considered as an asset
  • Excellent command of English both written and oral; Second language will be considered as an asset
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and regulations; Accountant’s Class A Certificattion will be considered as an asset
  • Solid knowledge of accounting and financial processes (budgeting, financial closure, reporting etc.)
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (especially excel) and accounting software (e.g. Navision, SAP etc) 7-10 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced international environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
