About the role

Responsibilities
- Proactive development, standardization and optimization of controlling and finance processes with consistent use of SAP standard processes
- Managing and actively contributing to internal projects, including the further development of profit-center accounting and project controlling
- Acting as the functional interface and working closely with Accounting, business units and management
- Preparing ad-hoc analyses and decision-making materials for senior management
- Preparing company planning and rolling forecasts, including plan vs. actual, forecast vs. actual and variance analyses for the group
- Enhancing reports, KPI systems and analyses to steer the company
- SAP-based controlling in the area of projects
Requirements
- Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable qualification with a focus on controlling/finance
- Several years of professional experience in controlling, ideally in a mid-sized or service-oriented environment
- Very good knowledge of HGB and IFRS and confident practical application
- Strong analytical skills, high numerical literacy and a structured mindset
- Solid SAP knowledge, ideally with experience in SAP customizing (desirable)
- Very confident in MS Excel and common reporting and BI tools
- Independent, structured and solution-oriented working style
- Strong communication skills, assertiveness and ability to work in a team
- Experience with controlling processes in SAP ERP / S/4 HANA
- Good to very good English skills
