About the role

• Distribute and adapt journalistic content across major social platforms while prioritizing timely, high-impact stories. Monitor performance, propose improvements and collaborate with the newsroom to drive audience engagement.

Responsibilities

• Distribute journalistic content across social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads and Bluesky);
• Adapt content to the different formats and tones of each platform;
• Prioritize news based on relevance, timing and engagement potential;
• Monitor post performance and propose continuous improvements;
• Collaborate with the newsroom to define distribution strategies;
• Suggest story ideas and innovative social media formats.

Requirements

• Strong command of social networks and their content dynamics;
• Experience using tools such as Meta Business Suite, Emplifi, Hootsuite and Canva;
• Apply journalistic criteria when prioritizing news;
• Ability to adapt content for multiple formats;
• Previous experience in newsrooms focused on hard news;
• Communicate clearly, concisely and strategically.
• Use photo and video editing tools;
• Propose creative and innovative solutions for content distribution;
• Demonstrate critical judgment in performance analysis and trend evaluation;
• Work with organization and planning in fast-paced environments;
• Build strong interpersonal relationships and collaborate effectively with teams;
• Show commitment to continuous learning and staying up to date on digital trends.
