- Multi-Skilled Photojournalist responsible for shooting and editing news stories for CBS Atlanta. Supporting newsroom operations across various platforms and maintaining high journalistic standards.
Responsibilities
- Shooting and editing of news stories.
- Support newsroom operations across linear, digital, and streaming platforms.
- Setting up live shots and using professional audio equipment.
- Working independently or alongside anchors/reporters.
- Maintaining high journalistic standards.
- Troubleshooting minor equipment problems in the field and performing basic vehicle maintenance.
- Must be willing to work holidays, nights, and weekends and travel on short notice.
- Edit content for all social platforms creatively with attention to detail.
Requirements
- B.A. degree in a related field is preferred.
- Three to five years of Photography/Editing experience in a major market is required.
- Extensive knowledge of the Atlanta area preferred.
- Three to five years of experience operating an ENG Live Van.
- Must be able to edit all nonlinear systems with broadcast quality.
- Satellite uplink truck experiences are a plus!
- Must maintain a Driver’s License in good standing.
