About the role

  • Marketing Content Strategist developing impactful content strategies to elevate Pima Medical Institute’s brand awareness and authority. Collaborating with stakeholders to create compelling narratives across all channels.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the central content architect, partnering with executives, faculty, students, and partners.
  • Develop and own the national content strategy, editorial calendar, and governance.
  • Architect content journeys that effectively move target audiences from discovery to conversion.
  • Leverage SEO, AI-driven discovery, and performance data to optimize content strategy.
  • Research, write, edit, and produce high-impact content.
  • Ensure all content maintains a consistent brand voice and high editorial standards.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and creative teams, and manage external agencies.
  • Monitor, analyze, and report on content performance metrics.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution.
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in content marketing, editorial leadership, or strategic communications.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling proficiency across diverse formats.
  • Strong working knowledge of SEO principles, content performance analytics, and AI-influenced search dynamics.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience collaborating with external agencies and leading cross-functional internal teams.
