About the role

  • Governance Specialist translating regulatory requirements into internal policies for Erste Group. Leading implementation processes and engaging with stakeholders in the banking sector.

Responsibilities

  • Translate regulatory guidelines and requirements into practical internal policies
  • Coordinate with stakeholders such as IT operations and security officers
  • Lead the implementation and governance of the policy
  • Act as Governance Officer and decision-maker for service categorizations
  • Communicate and advocate for the relevance of these activities

Requirements

  • Legal knowledge, preferably with regulatory experience
  • Additional expertise in IT, non-financial risk, or business intelligence is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to work independently
  • High resilience and the ability to recover from setbacks
  • Very good command of English and good command of German, both written and spoken
